I go back Thursday for a blood pressure check, but won't see my doctor again until Monday, when I'll be 40 and 1. So we'll make a decision after that. It's hard to believe that definitely in less than 10 days I'll be holding my little chunker!! I CANNOT WAIT!! :)
And because I've gotten where I don't like posting without a picture, I'll leave you with my lovely new hospital bag that's packed & ready to go! I knew I had to have it the moment I saw it - and it was only about $18, monogramming included! :)
Edited to add: Glad you guys love my bag! I should have included the info originally - sorry! I ordered it from the Wholesale Accessory Market and it's called the Houndstooth Print Large Bowler Bag with Red Trim. The bag was $12.90, and monogramming is $5.95. It is currently out of stock so doesn't appear on their site, but I saw it go in and out of stock several times before I ordered it. They have TONS of stuff at really good prices! There is a $50 minimum order, but it was super easy to reach that...great time to buy some unique gifts!
Happy Tuesday! :)
I CAN'T WAIT!!!!
ReplyDeleteSo excited that you'll be holding that precious boy in less than 10 days!!!! :) So excited for you, girl! Praying that you start progressing and that a c-section isn't necessary!!!
ReplyDeleteI just wanted to say congrats on your little boy. Boys are so much fun!! Not much longer and you will be holding him in your arms...greatest feeling in the world!
ReplyDeleteI am also new to your blog! I enjoy all of your crafty ideas. They give me ideas for my little boy. I have a 9 1/2 month old, Brennen.
Also your bag is so cute! Where did you get it?
So glad you're waiting because you're right about induction ending in c/s when everything isn't "ripe." Your hospital bag is so cute!
ReplyDeleteOMG! How time flies! I am saying a whole lot of prayers for you and your little one.
ReplyDeletep.s. LOVE your bag! I'm thinking of getting one like this as well :)

ReplyDeleteLOVE the bag!
39 weeks! YAY! You are so close! Can't wait to see pictures of your little one. :)
ReplyDeleteYEAH!! CAN'T WAIT TO MEET E!!!! OMG i was you this time last year...except a few weeks later (June 9-12th)....I was sealed tighter than one of those heavy duty ziplock bags and NO SIGN of my cervix ever cooperating but I WAS BOUND AND DETERMINED (yet again bad decision) to try for a Vag Delivery and so i was 10 months and 3 days pregnant and still that way and had an induction and 24 hrs later, w/2 epidurals that didn't work at all except to numb my feet and toes(why would that be the one time in my life i'm immune to happy meds?), i had a c-sec at 7:35am on Friday, June 12, 2009 and was blessed w/ my precious Shelby Lynne at 7:54am, which i didn't get to hold until FOREVER in recovery..i was like, "What tha?? where's my baby??" it wasn't that long but b/c of the amount of c-sec happy meds (which btw are AMAZING) i was happy, comfy and silly. Mr. Stacy (the c-sec epi man) is my bff FOR LIFE! the regular epi man, NOT SO MUCH! I PRAY for healthy delivery, HOWEVER it may go! How he gets here is not the thing to be concerned over, but the fact that he's in your arms is what's important! Only took me 11 months tomorrow to realize that....;) love u and ur in my prayers! this has to be the longest comment ever...lol
ReplyDeleteOH AND A C-SEC, it's not that bad as some may say, course mine wasn't emergency either and my scar is MAYBE 6" across and so low only Josh and the Lord will ever see it :) lol... :)
ReplyDeleteHello there! I'm new to your blog as well and must say I love your hospital bag? Where did you get it?! Please tell!! Good luck with everything!!
ReplyDeleteSo exciting!!! Praying for you guys.
ReplyDeleteP.S. That bag was made for you =)
how exciting!! i can't wait to meet your little man!! he is going to be adorable!
ReplyDeletelove your bag hun!
i'm still hoping for tomorrow on Grayden's b-day! you never know ;)
ReplyDeletethinking about you!
Wish we lived closer. We'd be best buds. I heart your bag.
ReplyDeleteSorry about the shut-out cervix! Doesn't little man KNOW how badly we want to meet him???? :)
Cute bag!
ReplyDeleteI was induced at thirty-seven weeks, and my cervix had not progressed any. My doc was sure because of that and the size of the baby, that I would have to have a c. But, I finally did progress, and at 8:30 that evening, Rhett was born. I hope that it goes that way for you! Good luck!
I HEART your bag! I promise...a c-section is not that bad. A little more of a recovery (from what people say) but it is all I know. I was running around Waco four days after Cilla was born! Slower than normal, of course, but still out and about. The worst part was that I was in labor for 12 hours then had the c-section (I was just like you...sealed too tight!) I know how disappointed you are. I was there, too. But, looking back, it all worked out fine! Bottom line- you want a safe arrival and a healthy baby!
ReplyDeleteHow exciting!! Your little man will be here before you know it. And, OMG, the bag. Wow! Thanks for posting the link on where you bought it. I am like you, I hate posts with no pics. Best of luck to you these next few days
ReplyDeleteKaren
Glad everything looked good for blood pressure! Sorry about the cervix! PROMISE the section is not as bad as everyone makes it out to be....especially if you don't labor first!!! I was the same way w/ both of mine. They just wanted to stay put! If you do the section, just get up & move asap bc that really does help & stay on your pain meds every 4 hours!!! Keep us posted! It's so exciting!
ReplyDeleteHearing your news and seeing that bag packed...ohhhh so exciting!
ReplyDeleteCan't wait to see this little one! Can't wait!!!
ReplyDeleteYou are so close! Can't wait to "meet" your little man!
ReplyDeleteI think you are smart to wait because why have a C section if you don't have to? EEEEK-I bet you are so excited, 10 more days until you hold your sweet baby boy! :)
ReplyDeleteI am so excited for you!! There is nothing like seeing your child for the 1st time!! YAY!! Love your bag too!
ReplyDeleteFort Knox? LOL I hope it happens soon for you! So exciting!!!!! But, I swear it seems like yesterday when you shared the news. Good Luck!
