{Month 5} Must-Haves

I am super late getting this up (he's going to be 6 months in 13 days - yikes!) but here are our must-haves for month 5!
I know I have previously proclaimed my love for the Moby, but that was prior to me using the K'tan. It's basically the Moby, but without the fuss. There are 9 different positions you can carry your baby in with this, and it can hold up to 35 lbs. Most importantly, it is comfortable & doesn't hurt your back! Also, I realize I never finished writing the post I promised talking about all the different carriers I've tried, so I will finish that and get that up by next week as I get lots of comments & emails about carriers.

I absolutely love our bumpy name labels. These are stretchy bands that can fit bottles, sippy cups, etc. and are dishwasher safe. Your child's name is engraved in the band and they are extremely durable. Super helpful for keeping your kid's stuff labeled without having to use a marker or labels that fade in the dishwasher.

Unfortunately this last month has basically consisted of one big runny nose. And if not that, then crusted boogies. Gross, I know...but it is what it is. I love the boogie wipes because they are made with saline in them so they get the job done smoothly, and keep the rudolph-nose look to a minimum.

We've had this toy bar on Manny's car seat for awhile, but this past month was when he really started playing with it. He loves to hit the turtle rattle and make it spin, and always enjoys the music it plays when you press the frog's eyes. It attaches easily to the car seat handle or the stroller, and stays put - unlike other toys he might drop or throw. :)

Well that's all for this month! In case you missed them, here are months 1&2, month 3, and our month 4 must-haves. :)

  1. Do you have a Moby Wrap? I can mail you ours if you'd like because William is too heavy for it!

  4. We love the labels, and still use them for cups at preschool. We also loved the car set toy bar. Both of my kids had one and they were the BEST!

  9. I am so annoyed that I can't comment on your blog from work! I always have things I want to say! :) I will have to look into this carrier. I have a Sleepy Wrap (same as the moby) that I LOVE but never really use anymore because of how much work it takes to get it on. And Ive been wanting one of those toy bars for his carrier. Thanks for all the info!

  11. I'm right there with you on the hunt for the best baby carrier. I love my baby bjorn, but also want to use a sling type carrier. However the sling I purchased on etsy just doesn't work with my kid, so i've ordered yet another sling. It's a Seven Everyday Sling. It's still in the mail so I guess we will just have to wait and see.

  15. OMG I am loving boogie wipes right now also! Maddox got his first cold Labor Day weekend, and they were such a lifesaver! He loves this toy bar also. It has been a lifesaver when I am alone in the car with him and he is fussy. I just press the frog's eyes and the music soothes him. He has this thing right now about eyes, so he just stares at the frog and then starts laughing. It is the funniest thing!
