Pinterest Recipes for Patrick's Birthday

Yesterday we celebrated my sweet husband's birthday! To be honest, it totally snuck up on me in the chaos of everything we have going on right now. The night before, I asked him what he wanted to do for his birthday and he said he just wanted me to cook dinner...which is actually a pretty big occasion within and of itself. When we were having this conversation, I just happened to be browsing Pinterest on my phone, and he wanted to know what I was doing. After explaining to him the fabulousness that is Pinterest and showing him a few of my boards, he asked if he could choose a meal off one of my boards for his birthday dinner. And that would be the moment I thanked my lucky stars for my board titled "Easy Meals".
The main dish of choice was Cheesy Chicken Lasagna. It was a super easy and a huge hit! I will definitely be adding this to the rotation. You can go here for the recipe.

For dessert, I knew I had to make my peanut butter lovin' husband the Reese's Stuffed Crescent Rolls I'd pinned, which I started referring to as Reese's Peanut Butter Pastry Puffs...don't know why, but I thought it sounded catchier. :) Anyway, you want to talk about s-i-m-p-l-e?! All you do is cut a regular sized Reese's peanut butter cup in half and roll it up inside a crescent, being sure to seal it real good. Then bake according to package instructions (mine only took 10 minutes). Remove from oven and sprinkle with powdered sugar, and eat 'em while they're hot! So.GOOD.

If you're looking for some good eats, I'd recommend either of these recipes! He was definitely a very happy birthday boy...all thanks to Pinterest! :)
